A strange sensation passed through my body.
" - Open your eyes majesty!" dark said. I opened my eyes to find the mountain pass gone and a beautiful waterfall in its place. I was at a loss for words. I sudden heard a burst of laughter from a woman coming from the edge of the waterfall. I crept forward to get a better look and saw the most beautiful woman with flowing red hair. She was cuddling a small child who had the same red hair as her.
" - Fiera, don't you think you are spoiling her too much?", said a strikingly handsome young man calling from the water. She only laughed.
" - Mysterio I could never spoil her too much. You already have me beat in that department." He started to laugh.
" - My love you have me there, but by Apollo's light its hard not to spoil the two most loveliest ladies in all the realms.
" - He made his ascension from the cold water in all his flaming glory. He bore such a striking resemblance to mordock that it was not funny. How was I seeing my parents here? I glanced to my side and saw Dark glancing up to me with a smile. If we were both here then who is the child with them?
" - Majesty this is a memory. Your father left it for you to find. The baby is you." he said. My parents continued to entertain my younger self as if we were not here. My heart dropped as I realized they were not really here. Their laughter and happiness seemed so real. A sudden hush fell over the waterfall.
" - Mysterio what will we do once the witches council hears of storms's birth? "Fiera said. Mysterio tried to calm her fears.
" - I won't let them take her or you,my love, from me. I already have measures in place for when and if they come. Don't let it worry you my love," he said.
" - I know love but there have been whispers of a traitor in our mist. Are you absolutely sure all of your soldiers are loyal to you? If the measures fail you will lose your magic and we will be lost to you." she said crying. Mysterio leaned over and planted a kiss on her forehead.
" - I know what is at stake my love and I will not fail you or my daughter. You have my word as a warlock and as the man who loves you both." As the tears began to fall down my cheek I closed my eyes real tight to try to stop the oncoming flood. I felt gentle fingers trying to wipe away the tears.
" - Majesty open your eyes!" dark said gently. I slowly open my eyes and the image of my parents had disappeared. The only sounds that I heard were from the rushing water of the waterfall. I felt all of their happiness and love and especially the pain of what was to come. My parents had been betrayed but by who?
