Part 1
It has been seven years since I had to leave my home behind once again. I could still remember all the pain and fear. My powers had evolved once again and I almost lost everything I loved. I was now faced with another decision to leave my new home once again. The last move was at a total loss when the bickering and power struggle started once again from with in. Maybe I should have taken Chaospanda's advice and just left with Darkangel and left everyone else behind. There were many threats of leaving and a few guild members did leave. I thought GrArgen was a great leader. He kept everyone safe for the most part. I knew Yoda's gang had not perished in the fire but I also knew he was not stupid enough to come at me once again. What Stevos had said about my parents being alive stayed at the front of my mind. I so wanted to see them. They had missed so much of my life and I wanted to let them meet their new grandson Dark Death.They would be so proud of him. At only the age of six he learned to change his own being and fate. Not only did he have my powers of nightmares like me and my mother berfore me he gained a calming yet nullifying aura as well from his father. It was a big debate with Dark and I as to whether he would be a mage or a knight like his dad. But with a twist of fate our Dark Death instead became an archer. He was very quick with a bow and a better hunter than most of our guards. He was the only common ground we had with the guild members now.
They all absolutely adored him. After the big nightmare I casted over Defy Fate most of the guildies, save a handful were actually afraid of me. Rumors formed the moment I had Dark Death. They were afraid that being near me would bring down the mage council once again as it did when my parents were alive. The only way that would happen again is if we had not weeded out all of the vipers. I always knew the council was going to be a force that I would have to contend with or else me and my son would never be fully safe. The only way I would be able to defeat them once and for all was to find a way see my parents and learn what they knew about the council. Stevos had said they were in another parallel dimension to us and still alive. If only I knew how to get to that dimension or somehow bring them to me. Dark Death brought me back down to earth as her tugged on my skirt.
- Mom why such a worried look on your face? he said. I peered down at my handsome little boy. He favored his dad so much. He had dark hair instead of my luscious red color. But one thing he did get from me was his persistence.
- Mom, I asked you if everything is ok? he said once again with a concerned look on his face. I gave him a smile.
- Everything is fine my little light. I was just in thought was all. Speaking of where is my sun and stars, your father at?" I asked him. He looked to the ground and said,
- I believe he is with uncle Jorge trying to calm some of the guildies down. Apparently a small uprising happened over the authority here. I was sent to come get you in hopes that you could calm them and reassure them we are finally safe." he said.
- Little light you know that I can not fully guarantee our safety here. The Mage council is still out there. And until I can find them and stop them once and for all we will never be fully safe. But I think its time that I spoke with them. I said as I took his hand in mine and went back to the castle. We walked into the great hall and my spirits dropped. More than half the guild was here voicing their opinions.
- GrArgen we are not satisfied with the way you are ruling here! Storm and her lot needs to be casted away from here if we are to be safe. If you can not do that then at least give power back over to Kuso. He will do what needs to be done." Colossus said angrily. The beast inside of me began to anger.
- Silence!!! I bellowed. Everyone turned to see me standing there with Dark Death. Some had fear in their faces from being overheard while others kept their stances.
- I along with GrArgen and my husband Darkangel have kept this guild safe and hidden for the last seven years. We have casted none of you out even when some of you decided to rebel. If I had known this would be the outcome I would have left the lot of you at Defy Fate to suffer that fate. I sacrificed more than any of you will ever come to understand. I did what I knew my father would have wanted and that was to keep everyone safe. And that is what I have done everyday day and night for the last seven years. I have listened to countless drivel from whiney ungrateful people. The same ungrateful people who did nothing as my mother and I were taken away and my fathers powers were taken from him.Darkangel, myself and our son will not be leaving Lionhearts however for those that feel so strongly you are free to leave here. I will not stop you and you will have all my blessings but the moment you leave you will no longer be welcome here. You will no longer have my magic to protect you. Any that shall choose to go and betray me and my family to the mages shall be fair game and I will hunt every last one of you down. Believe me you do not want to know what will happen when my beast is unleashed since he has been locked away for 7 years. I truly hope in my heart that it never comes to that." I say as I bow my head.
